No Credit Check Loans
Companies are not required to disclose to the public how they score people. If you doubt my word,
call the state insurance commissioner and ask to see a company's secret scoring model, which is required to be on file with the commission.
Companies have a way of keeping track of who has been able to pay their bills on time in the past.
And yes, they do reward people who have paid their bills on time.
Information about an unpaid judgment against you can be reported for seven years or until the
statute of limitations runs out, whichever is longer.
There is no time limit on reporting information about criminal convictions; information reported in
response to your application for a job that pays more than £75,000 a year; and information reported because you've
applied for more than £150,000 worth of credit or life insurance.
Information requested from other countries under these treaties and agreements is an important
means by which the IRS identifies taxpayers who attempt to hide income offshore to avoid their tax
obligations.
Consumer reporting companies must investigate the items in question — usually within 30 days —
unless they consider your dispute frivolous.
They also must forward all the relevant data you provide about the inaccuracy to the organization
that provided the information. Consumers responding to such Web sites or ads are taken through a phony application
process and later may even receive fake loan approval documents.
No credit check loans are available through local banks or financial institutions.
In order to receive the approved loan, applicants are directed to pay money up-front, under the
guise of an application fee, a security deposit, for credit insurance, some other collateral payment, or other service fee. Consumers with less-than-perfect credit ratings may be
tempted to enlist the assistance of a company promising to "clean up" or "erase" bad credit.
Credit repair companies can do nothing for you that you cannot do for yourself for free, and they
may charge you hundreds of pounds to do it.
Consumers should be very cautious in answering advertisements for these services. Consumer retreats
and trainings, focusing on recovery, would go a long way toward meeting SCDMH?s new Mission Statement: To support
the recovery of people with mental illnesses . Consumers also should beware of ads that only provide how much the
car has been reduced without providing consumers with additional information. Keep in mind, however, there is no
such thing as a MSRP for used cars.
