For some time, I’ve been toying with the idea of researching and writing about Dickinson’s contributions to the Civil War–for some reason, an unusual number of Civil War cavalry officers were Dickinsonians–so I contacted Matt to discuss the idea.

The WCWA consists of smaller groups of re-enactors formed to portray different units and organizations that existed during the American Civil War. These groups portray civilians, infantry, cavalry, navy, marines, engineers, surgeons, nurses, and ministry.
